As part of our mission to provide youth soccer opportunities in Fortuna and SoHum, Eel River Valley Youth Soccer League is committed to developing and maintaining a team of qualified referees for both recreational and competitive games. We welcome referees certified through U.S. Soccer and encourage new referees to obtain certification. Our goal is to invest in players with strong soccer knowledge, decision-making skills, and a passion for the game, giving them the opportunity to referee in our programs.
Professional and impartial refereeing is essential to the success of our soccer league. We expect our referees to conduct themselves professionally and demonstrate maturity on and off the field.
